Territorians with lived experience of homelessness are now being encouraged to express their interest in joining the Lived Experience Advisory Group (LEAG), which will help inform homelessness policy, planning, governance and service reform across the Northern Territory.

“The LEAG will become an important part of the NT homeless system because it ensures the people who know the system best, those who have navigated it, are helping to shape it. Good policy is informed by data yes, but it should also be informed by the people who have lived it.”
