    The 8th National Housing and Homelessness Forum will bring together policymakers, service providers, and community leaders to explore scalable solutions, innovative housing models, and culturally safe strategies. Through expert-led sessions, delegates will gain practical frameworks to reduce tenancy loss, increase housing supply, and address housing instability, while fostering collaboration to build a fairer, more equitable housing system. Location - Aerial, Sydney.

    Association of Alcohol and Other Drug Agencies NT Conference 2026 This year’s theme, 'On Country, In Community: The Way We Work' explores how people, place and practice intersect to shape the future of AOD service delivery in the Northern Territory. The 2026 conference brings together practitioners, researchers, policymakers, peer workers and community leaders to share innovation, strengthen collaboration and discuss real-world solutions grounded in the needs of NT communities.

  • City of Darwin – Community Link up | Homelessness Action Now

    Hosted by City of Darwin Libraries, the annual Community Link Up brings together community organisations to connect people experiencing or at risk of homelessness with local support services and information.   • Memorial Service | Alice Springs

    Hosted in partnership with the Alice Springs Uniting Church and NT Shelter, this memorial service provides an opportunity to remember those who have passed away while experiencing homelessness in Central Australia, while acknowledging the people who continue to support them.     Hosted by the Catholic Diocese of Darwin, this special memorial service honours those who have died while experiencing homelessness, while recognising those who continue to experience homelessness and the people who care for and support them.   • Homelessness Week Film Screening – Common Wealth

    Join us for a special screening of Common Wealth as part of Homelessness Week 2026. NT Shelter has partnered to deliver this event, with filmmaker Kane Guglielmi joining us as a special guest. Following the screening, NT Shelter will host a panel discussion and audience Q&A exploring the themes raised in the documentary. Common Wealth is an intimate yet globally minded documentary that follows filmmaker Kane Guglielmi on a personal journey to question the economic and political systems that shape modern life. NT Shelter will be offering a limited number of complimentary tickets to member organisations.
