This year's theme is 'Homelessness Action Now".

Join us for a special screening of Common Wealth as part of Homelessness Week 2026. NT Shelter has partnered to deliver this event, with filmmaker Kane Guglielmi joining us as a special guest. Following the screening, NT Shelter will host a panel discussion and audience Q&A exploring the themes raised in the documentary. Common Wealth is an intimate yet globally minded documentary that follows filmmaker Kane Guglielmi on a personal journey to question the economic and political systems that shape modern life. NT Shelter will be offering a limited number of complimentary tickets to member organisations. AHURI convenes the Australian Homelessness Conference which will be held in Darwin, 7-8 October 2026 at the Darwin Convention Centre. The Australian Homelessness Conference is Australia’s largest homelessness conference, bringing together all sectors addressing homelessness in Australia to share new ideas, best practices, and opportunities for system reform.
